Yes. RESTT is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 93-4564041). All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive a receipt for your records.
Yes. RESTT’s services are provided at no cost to qualified participants. Our programs are funded through donations, grants, and community partnerships — so that cost is never a barrier to safety and healing.

To qualify for the ACCESS program, you must:
Mothers with minor children requiring emergency daycare are paired with a dedicated case coordinator who diligently searches for certified and secure daycare facilities that are suitable for both the child and the mother’s peace of mind.
Donations made to RESTT go towards funding our ACCESS program and services, such as legal support, housing support, and childcare assistance. We are committed to transparency — the vast majority of every dollar donated goes directly to program services.
While the ACCESS program requires an active criminal case, we encourage anyone in need to reach out to us. We can connect you with other community resources and crisis support. You can also contact the National DV Hotline at 1.800.799.SAFE (7233) for immediate assistance.

RESTT currently serves mothers and families in Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade Counties in Florida. If you are outside these areas, we can help connect you with resources in your region.
ACCESS stands for: Attorney Advocacy, Counseling, Child Care, Education, Spiritual Guidance, and Shelter Assistance. These six services work together as one coordinated program to help mothers and families rebuild after intimate partner violence.
RESTT stands for Resources, Education, Stability, Transition, and Transformation — the five pillars that guide every program and every life we touch. These are not just words; they are the pathway we walk with every survivor.

Our attorneys file protection orders, act as communication liaisons between the State Attorney’s Office and the victim, and advocate for clients’ rights in court throughout the legal process.
RESTT offers three signature programs: ACCESS (a comprehensive support system for mothers), the Village Program (for children exposed to domestic violence), and Building Bridges (an immigrant advocacy initiative focused on Haitian communities in South Florida).
RESTT was founded in 2023 by Jeschamma Augustin, Esq. — a former Assistant State Attorney who witnessed first-hand the barriers survivors of intimate partner violence face in the justice system. RESTT is based in Plantation, FL, and serves Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade Counties.
RESTT serves a mother who is both physically and mentally ready to transition from an abusive relationship, protect her children from further trauma, and is prepared for a life of stability and rest. She should be open and committed to receiving support from a dedicated team that will guide her through the process.
